On Failing Tests

“The final exams are failing”
“SATs are failing”
“Pilot’s exams are failing”

Does it sound right?

How about “performance tests are failing”?

The purpose of the performance tests is not to have a green report, but to bring confidence in efficiency and scalability of your application. If your test report is all red, it’s a sign that the system under test still needs improvements.*

There’s no such thing as a failing test, but there may be an application failing it.
